New Container

Create a container to organize tracking configuration for a specific domain or environment.

Prerequisites

• Access to Tag Integration

• Required domain information for tracking setup

Procedure

1. Navigate to Tag Integration.

2. Open Containers.

3. Click Create container.

4. Enter a Title for the container.

5. Select the Type:    

   • Web

   • Mobile

6. Define Domain inclusion:    

   • Enter one or more domains where the container should be loaded.

   • Use a leading dot (.) to include all subdomains, for example .example.com.

   • Separate multiple domains with commas.

7. (Optional) Define Domain exclusion. Specify domains where the container should not be loaded.

8. (Optional) Enable Static Mode. Use this option if parameter values are provided via the data layer.

9. Click Create.

Result

The container is created and appears in the Container Overview. You can now configure plugins, parameters, and rules.

Best Practices

• Use separate containers for different environments, for example production and staging.

• Use clear naming conventions to distinguish containers.

• Verify domain configuration before publishing.
