A time-based automation in Mapp Engage is a system job that runs automatically on a fixed schedule – without requiring manual action.
These automations help streamline recurring tasks such as message sendouts, imports, exports, and profile updates.
How It Works
Each time-based automation consists of two parts:
Schedule – defines when the automation is executed.
Job – defines what action is performed by the system.
Once created and activated, time-based automations run in the background. You can create as many automations as needed.
Typical Use Cases
Send a weekly newsletter every Monday at 10:00.
Export campaign performance data at the end of each day.
Import new contacts from a server every morning.
