Introduction
The Content > Email area provides access to all email-related CMS elements.
From this screen, you manage email messages, templates, frameworks, and blocks.
For conceptual explanations of how these elements relate to each other, refer to the System Basics documentation.
Tabs
The screen contains the following tabs:
Email Messages
Lists all created email messages.
Each message is based on a template and can be prepared for sendout.
Additional information may include:
Template used for the message
Status (for example, whether the message is still in progress or finished)
Assigned user
Due date
Number of paragraphs
Depending on the configuration, you can preview messages, transfer ownership, archive them, or start the sendout process.
Email Templates
Lists all available email templates.
Templates define the structure of an email message and are based on a framework. When creating a message, you select a template.
The overview shows general information such as:
Template name
Author
Creation date
Last modification date
Frameworks
Lists all frameworks.
Frameworks define which blocks are available when creating or editing a template. They control the structural possibilities of templates.
The overview may include:
Framework name
Assigned tags
Author
Creation and modification dates
Blocks
Lists all reusable content blocks.
Blocks are structural or content elements that can be made available in frameworks and used in templates.
The overview may include:
Block name
Assigned tags
Author
Creation and modification dates
Table and View Options
Each tab displays its entries in a table.
Depending on the tab, you can:
Filter entries (for example, by date or status)
Sort entries by column
Adjust visible columns
Navigate between pages
Adjust the number of visible rows
Select multiple entries for bulk actions
These options affect only the current view and do not change the stored content.
Actions
Depending on the selected tab and item, the following actions may be available:
Create – Create a new item of the selected type.
Edit – Open the selected item for editing.
Preview (Email Messages) – Display the message content without personalization.
Copy – Create a copy of the selected item. In some cases, you can copy only the structure or the full content.
Change Owner (Email Messages) – Transfer ownership to another user.
Archive – Move selected items to the archive. Archived items remain stored and can be reactivated.
Delete – Permanently remove selected items after confirmation.
Sendout (Email Messages) – Open the sendout preparation process.
Some actions are available only after selecting an entry.
