Overview

This guide provides a high-level overview of the Mapp Fashion onboarding process.

The goal is to ensure a smooth and structured transition from setup to launch, aligning technical configuration and business objectives. Steps may vary slightly depending on your use cases and data readiness, but the general flow remains the same.

Mapp will guide you through every step of the onboarding process and provide dedicated support to ensure a seamless setup.

Your active involvement is essential, as certain steps require data, assets, and access from your side in the correct format. Close collaboration helps keep everything on track and efficient.

1. Prerequisites

Before onboarding begins, ensure that all foundational elements relevant to your use case are in place. This will ensure that data and integrations can be implemented without delay.

2. Onboarding Phases

2.1 Preparation

In this phase, Mapp establishes the groundwork for your Mapp Fashion setup. We’ll verify your environment setup and domain configuration, where applicable, ensuring everything is ready for technical deployment.

Key focus areas:

  • Domain configuration or delegation (if relevant to the use case)

  • Environment readiness

2.2 Configuration

This step builds the foundation of your Mapp Fashion infrastructure. Here, we’ll connect all data sources, tracking mechanisms, and product feeds,  ensuring that information flows seamlessly between your systems and Mapp’s platform.

This includes configuring:

  • Customer journey tracking

  • Product and transaction feeds

  • Product recommendations

By the end of this stage, your data and tracking ecosystem will be fully integrated and aligned with your business goals.

2.3 Use Case Setup

Once your data foundation is in place, we activate the specific use cases you’ve selected. This step focuses on enabling the core functionalities that bring your product data and recommendations to life on your website and in your communications.

Typical use cases include:

2.4 Testing and Go-Live

Before launch, Mapp conducts end-to-end validation to confirm all systems and experiences work as expected. This ensures data accuracy, correct tracking, and smooth operation of all widgets and integrations.

Pre-launch validation includes:

  • Confirming data feeds and tracking implementation

  • Testing widgets

  • Ensuring visual and email experiences align with design standards

Once verified, your Mapp Fashion experience is ready to go live.
