Optimizing Readability

Prev Next

This page focuses on enhancing the readability and usability of your analyses. It covers features like row enumeration, understanding the footer for unique value calculations, and utilizing full-screen mode to maximize your workspace for more efficient analysis.

1 Enumerating Rows for Better Readability

Enabling row enumeration helps improve the readability and usability of your data tables. It makes it easier to understand rankings, such as identifying the top 10 or top 30 entries at a glance.

How to Enable Enumeration:

Use the dedicated button in the data table to activate row numbering.

Note: Enumeration is not supported in multi-dimensional analyses.

2 Understanding the Footer for Totals

The footer in your analysis displays a Total row, providing a summary of unique values for metrics and formulas. This feature helps you quickly assess overall performance.

  • Metrics: The footer always shows unique counts.

  • Formulas: Calculated based on the unique counts of the underlying metrics, ensuring consistency across all analyses.

Example: In a weekly visitor analysis, the Total row will count each visitor only once, ensuring an accurate summary over the selected time period.

3 Full-Screen Mode for Enhanced Focus

The Full-Screen Mode in Mapp Intelligence allows you to maximize your workspace, providing a distraction-free environment for analyzing your data.

  • This mode hides the main menu and top navigation, allowing you to focus entirely on your analysis.

  • To toggle full-screen mode on or off, click the arrow icon located next to the analysis path.

Using full-screen mode can be especially helpful when working with complex datasets, as it provides more space to view and interpret your analysis results.
