System Messages Overview (Window)

​View​

This item opens the ​Message Preview​ window for the respective system message (see ​Email Message Preview).

​Edit​

This item opens the ​Edit System Message​ window (see ​Edit System Message), where the system message can be edited.

​Suppress Sendout​

This item suppresses the selected system message. This message is no longer sent out. The message appears grayed out.

​Back to Default​

This button removes any changes to the default system message. The default system message is used for all sendouts again.

​Name​

Column displaying the name of the system message.

​Info​

These mouse-over buttons provide additional information about the system message (provided by the Mapp Engage system).

​Type​

Column displaying the type of system message.

Group System Message Types:

• Import: These system messages pertain to the import of data into a group in Mapp Engage (e.g. member import report).

• Message: These system messages pertain to group messages (e.g. message moderation).

• Subscription: These system messages pertain to group subscriptions (e.g. subscription moderation).

• Unsubscribe: These system messages pertain to group unsubscribes (e.g. unsubscribe notification).

• Notification: These system messages notify the recipient of a group change (e.g. a change of credit, password change).

System-Wide Message Types:

• Import: These system messages pertain to the import of data into Mapp Engage (e.g. an import report, related data report, etc.).

• Export: These system messages pertain to the export of data from Mapp Engage (e.g. export generated).

• Statistics: These system messages pertain to statistics in Mapp Engage (e.g. reports).

• Profile Change: These system messages pertain to profile changes in Mapp Engage.

• Notification: These system messages notify the recipient of a change in Mapp Engage (e.g. a change of credit, password change).

• System: These system messages pertain to the Mapp Engage system (e.g. confirmation of campaign).

​Status​

Column displaying the status of the system message.

• Default: The default system message is currently being used for this message.

• Overridden system-wide: A custom system message is being used for this message.

​Last Changed​

Column displaying the date and time on which the system message was last edited.

​Show​

This drop-down list is used to filter which messages are displayed (internal, external or all).

​Remove filter​

This button removes any filter applies to the message display. All available messages are again shown.

​Select All​

This button selects all visible messages. It is possible to reset all system messages to the default at the same time, or to apply a template to all system messages at once.

​Back to Default​

This button removes any changes to the default system message. The default system message is used for all sendouts again.

​Assign Message​

This button opens the ​Edit System Message​ window (see ​Edit System Message (window)​).
