System Messages Overview window
The System Messages window presents an overview of system messages in this Mapp Engage system.
Available Actions
Action | Description |
---|---|
View | This item opens the Message Preview window for the respective system message (see Email Message Preview). |
Edit | This item opens the Edit System Message window (see Edit System Message), where the system message can be edited. |
Suppress Sendout | This item suppresses the selected system message. This message is no longer sent out. The message appears grayed out. |
Back to Default | This button removes any changes to the default system message. The default system message is used for all sendouts again. |
A customized system message cannot be edited here. To edit a customized system message, it is necessary to edit the prepared message used as a template. For more information, see Create Templates for System Messages.
Available Information (columns of the table)
Information | Description |
---|---|
Name | Column displaying the name of the system message. |
Info | These mouse-over buttons provide additional information about the system message (provided by the Mapp Engage system). |
Type | Column displaying the type of system message. Group System Message Types:
System-Wide Message Types:

Status | Column displaying the status of the system message.
|
Last Changed | Column displaying the date and time on which the system message was last edited. |
General Page Options
Action | Description |
---|---|
Show | This drop-down list is used to filter which messages are displayed (internal, external or all). |
Remove filter | This button removes any filter applies to the message display. All available messages are again shown. |
Select All | This button selects all visible messages. It is possible to reset all system messages to the default at the same time, or to apply a template to all system messages at once. |
Back to Default | This button removes any changes to the default system message. The default system message is used for all sendouts again. |
Assign Message | This button opens the Edit System Message window (see Edit System Message (window)). |
