Overview
A Custom Tracking Event is registered when a contact interacts with your website or app in a way defined by your tracking configuration. These events allow you to trigger automated campaigns in Mapp Engage based on specific user actions beyond standard product interactions.
Custom Tracking Events can be used for various engagement scenarios, including:
A user interacts with a size guide or fit recommendation tool.
A user searches for a store using the Store Finder.
A user engages with a promotion or discount banner.
A user abandons a form submission (e.g., account registration or survey).
By using Custom Tracking Events, you can create highly targeted and personalized campaigns based on user engagement beyond predefined product-based triggers.
