This message is the system message SysMsgRemindPending . This initial reminder email is only sent one time - even if the recipient does not respond to it.

Until the moderator has approved the applicant, the contact has the following membership status in the group: Awaiting Approval.

The membership moderator needs the group permission 502 Members: Confirm and Reject Members.

    Activate Subscription with Email Reply

When you activate this option, you change the entire subscription process of the group.

Customize the system messages SysMsgInviteToGroup and SysMsgInviteToGroupPasswd. These messages must clearly indicate that any reply results in subscription.

    Setting

    Description

    Activate Subscription With Email Reply

Defines that any reply to an email subscribes the email address to the group.

When you activate this option, the reply-to address for the group changes to groupname-subscribe@domain.com.

The recipient confirms this subscription by replying to the email (not by clinking a link). Every reply, regardless of what text or message is in the reply, confirms subscription to the group.
