Settings
Setting | Description |
---|---|
Channel Type | The channel type is SMS. |
External Message ID | Displays the external message ID. The external message ID is a value that is added to links during message sendout. This value is then transmitted to an external system, such as a web analytics tool or e-commerce shop. Example: Every time that you send a newsletter, you add the external message ID to every link in the email. This ID helps you track the performance of each newsletter in your ecommerce system and web analytics tool. |
Size | Displays the estimated size of the message. The size is calculated based on a personalized standard message created by the system. However, an individual message can be smaller or larger than the stated value. |
Attachments | This field is not relevant for SMS messages. |

You can use selections to send targeted messages to a specific audience. If you did not apply a selection to the sendout, this line is empty. |
Skipped | Displays the number of addresses that Mapp Engage skipped prior to sendout. An address can be skipped during sendout for several reasons. For example, the address is on a blacklist or Robinson list, or no address is stored in the contact profile. You can view the specific reasons why addresses were skipped in the Statistics area. For more information, see Skipped Messages (tab). |
