Whiteboard Statistics

Introduction

Whiteboard Statistics provide real-time insights into how contacts progress through your whiteboard journey. By analyzing contact behavior at each step and measuring goal completions, you can evaluate the effectiveness of your whiteboard and optimize it over time.

Statistics cover both contact-related actions and system-level actions that are not executed per contact, ensuring that all activity within the whiteboard is captured accurately and displayed clearly.

Why is this helpful

  • Monitor contact engagement throughout the whiteboard journey.

  • Identify and address points where contacts drop out.

  • Differentiate between actions executed per contact and actions executed independently of contacts, such as system reports or notifications.

Where to Find Statistics

Statistics are available in the Statistics tab of the Whiteboard Details section.

They are also visualized directly on the canvas where the whiteboard flow is built.

Step Statistics

Step statistics provide two key metrics for each step, supported by distinct icons for clarity:

  • A computer monitor displaying a person in a video call interface.Number of contacts:

Shows the number of contacts who exited the step and continued to the next.

  • Two hash symbols displayed prominently, indicating a specific reference or categorization.Number of runs:

Shows the total number of times the step was executed, including repeated runs and actions executed without direct contact interaction.

This distinction applies to all steps and is especially relevant for system-level actions that are not tied to individual contacts, such as the jobs Send Email to System User or Generate Report. The number of contacts passing through these steps does not necessarily need to match the number of times the steps are executed.

Calculation Method Dependency

The updated statistics calculation method was released on June 25, 2025. It applies only to whiteboards that are newly created or have been republished. Whiteboards created before this date and not republished will continue to use the previous calculation method.

Goal statistics show the number of contacts who met the defined goal of the whiteboard. Goals are typically assigned to the last marketing action, such as an email, SMS, or push notification.
