Creating a Configuration Template

Goal​

To save a set of delivery settings in a new configuration template.


Prerequisites​

Your system user account has the following permissions:

  • ​Delivery Settings: View All Delivery Settings | 1900​

  • ​Delivery Settings: Edit All Delivery Settings | 1901​

  • ​Delivery Settings: Edit Own Delivery Settings | 1902​


Background Information​

A configuration template stores a set of sendout settings that you can apply automatically when creating or copying a group.


Procedure​

  1. Go to ​Audience > Group Management > Groups.

  2. Click ​Configuration Template.

  3. Click ​Create. Enter the desired settings and click ​Save.

  4. Click ​Reply Handling. Enter the desired settings and click ​Save.

  5. Click ​Tracking & Links. Enter the desired settings and click ​Save.

  6. Click ​Notifications. Enter the desired settings and click ​Save.
    Engage saves the settings that you entered in a new configuration template and assigns the template a unique ID.
    You can access your new template in the ​Configuration Templates​ window.
