Message Categories

Message categories can be assigned to individual messages in Mapp Engage to make organizing and identifying messages easier.

Creating Message Categories​

New message categories are created in the Message Category Overview (window). For instructions, see Create New Message Category.

Assigning Message Categories​

The category is assigned to a message before the message sendout in the ​Configuration for Sendout in the Advanced Options area.

Only one category can be assigned to a message at any time.

After a message has been sent, it is no longer possible to change the category of the message.

Filtering by Message Category ​

You can now filter by message category in Message Statistics. For more information, see Message Category Filter.
