Message categories can be assigned to individual messages in Mapp Engage to make organizing and identifying messages easier.
Creating Message Categories
New message categories are created in the Message Category Overview (window). For instructions, see Create New Message Category.
Assigning Message Categories
The category is assigned to a message before the message sendout in the Configuration for Sendout in the Advanced Options area.

Only one category can be assigned to a message at any time.
After a message has been sent, it is no longer possible to change the category of the message.
Filtering by Message Category
You can now filter by message category in Message Statistics. For more information, see Message Category Filter.
