Send a Reminder When Coupons Run Low

Prev Next

Goal

Configure a coupon list to automatically send a reminder when the number of available coupons drops below a defined threshold.

Background Information

You can set a reminder in Mapp Engage to notify the coupon list owner (and optionally other users) when the number of available coupons reaches a defined limit.

This helps avoid interrupted sendouts due to insufficient coupons and ensures smooth campaign execution.

The reminder is sent as a system message (SysMsgCouponAlert).

Procedure

  1. Go to Content > Voucher Manager > Coupons.

  2. Open the coupon list where you want to set a reminder.

  3. Activate Remind Owner and set it to Yes.

  4. Configure the reminder settings:

    • Send reminder when: Define the number of coupons that will trigger the reminder.

    • Send Additional Reminder to: (Optional) Add an Engage user to receive the reminder.

  5. Save the coupon list.

Once the threshold is reached, Mapp Engage automatically sends a SysMsgCouponAlert to the configured recipients.

Additional Information

  • To upload new coupons, see Manage Coupon Lists.

  • If no reminder is configured and a list runs empty, sendouts may pause or fail depending on the coupon list settings.

  • For more information about system messages, see System Messages.
