Available Statistics and Analyses

Message Statistics

Message statistics provide tracking and response data for Email, SMS, and Mobile Push messages. The available data varies by channel, depending on technical capabilities. Group message statistics and single message statistics are displayed separately, reflecting their different use cases and sendout logic.

The analysis is organized into four main areas:

  • Delivery Performance - Shows essential information about sendout and delivery. You can compare delivery rates across domains, review bounced or skipped messages, and analyze inbox monitoring results.

  • Recipient Activity - Focuses on how recipients interact with your messages. This includes click analysis by link or category, performance comparisons based on contact attributes, device analysis, and evaluation of message variations created with complex personalization.

  • Losses and Potential Reach - Highlights issues and opportunities related to audience size. This area covers unsubscribes, spam complaints, invalid domains, forwarded messages, and potential new contacts generated through forwards.

  • Conversions - Analyzes whether messages led to defined conversion goals, such as purchases or event registrations.

The calculation of email KPIs follows the standards set by the Email Experience Council (EEC), ensuring transparency and enabling international data comparisons.

Raw Data Exports and Statistics

Message Statistics are based on processed events, while Raw Data Exports and Simplified Data Exports provide unprocessed data. Although some metrics share the same names, they are calculated differently and should not be compared directly. Raw and simplified exports have a one-hour delay compared to Message Statistics. It is recommended to run these exports daily, ideally at night, covering the previous 24 hours.

Contact Statistics

Contact statistics provide an overview of audience development. You can analyze how many contacts exist system-wide, how many belong to specific groups, and how group membership changes over time. This information helps you plan campaigns, evaluate which messages drive engagement, and assess overall audience growth.

Source Statistics

Source statistics show where your contacts originate. Internal sources include marketing campaigns, while external sources can include partner-managed activities such as sweepstakes. By assigning a source ID during import, you can evaluate the quality, lifecycle, and costs of newly generated contacts.
