CI Segments are behavior-based audiences created in the Intelligence module and made available for use in Engage. This area in Engage is intended only for viewing and managing these segments. All logic, configuration, and creation of CI Segments take place in Intelligence. In Engage, you can review which segments are available, how they are used, and how they are updated.
Both predefined Intelligence segments and custom segments created by customers can appear here once they are shared with Engage.
Key Use Cases
Within Engage, the CI Segments section supports tasks such as:
Reviewing Intelligence segments that can be used for targeting
Checking where a CI Segment is used in messages, automations, or segmentation logic
Monitoring refresh status and update behavior
Managing daily recalculation for selected CI Segments (when applicable)
This interface focuses solely on managing segments that already exist. It does not cover how segmentation logic is built; that is handled separately in the Segmentation Builder documentation.
