Overview
Simplified Data Exports provide filtered event data related to your messages. Unlike Raw Data Exports, they include only the first occurrence of each selected event (for example, the first click or first open).
This approach reduces file size and complexity while still supporting reliable contact-level analysis.
Use Simplified Data Exports when you need structured behavioral data without the overhead of full event tracking.
When to Use Simplified Data Export
Simplified Data Exports are ideal when:
First interactions are sufficient for your analysis
Smaller export files are preferred
Data should be easier to process in external tools
Contact-level reporting is the primary goal
For complete event histories, use Raw Data Exports instead.
