    Article summary

25 June 2025 We’ve released an update to how statistics are calculated and displayed in Mapp Engage Whiteboards. These improvements provide clearer and more accurate insights into how each step in your automation flows performs.

    Key Benefits

    • More precise contact tracking: Statistics now distinguish between actions executed per contact and those executed independently (e.g., system reports or notifications).

    • Improved visibility: Two new icons help you quickly understand step performance:

      • A computer monitor displaying a person in a video call interface.- Shows the number of unique contacts who exited the step and continued to the next.

      • Two hash symbols displayed prominently, indicating a specific reference or categorization. - Shows the total number of times the step was executed, including repeated runs and actions without direct contact interaction.

    • Upgraded logic: More consistent and reliable calculations for all tracked events.

    How does it work?

Statistics are available in the Statistics tab of the Whiteboard Details section. They are also visualized directly on the canvas where the whiteboard flow is built.

    To access the improved statistics:

    • Create a new whiteboard, or

    • Republish an existing one:

      • create and activate a copy

      • end or phase out the Whiteboard, then activate it again.

Whiteboards created before this update and not republished will continue to use the previous calculation logic.

    Availability

This feature was rolled out on June 25th, 2025, and is available on all Mapp Engage systems by default.

    To access the improved statistics:

    • Create a new whiteboard, or

    • Republish an existing one.

Whiteboards created before this update and not republished will continue to use the previous calculation logic.
